Great Book for the 20-Something Crowd!

What a positive, inspiring book for young women today! This quick read provides clear, realistic, and spot-on advice for any young woman struggling to make sense of the crazy demands of the world in which we live. Hollie Flynn writes with practical wisdom and provides a structured method for goal-setting, applicable to the 20-something crowd. As a professor who works with this age group, I see this book as an incredibly valuable tool.

Great For Any Woman! Transform Your Life

Great For Any Woman! Transform Your Life

Oh, how I wish this book had fallen into my lap in high school or college. How fantastic that would have been!

Ever wish you had a big sister who could walk you through your life challenges? That's what this book is - told in the caring style of someone who's been there, literally guiding you every step of the way. (I suggest the print copy of the book, so that you can fill it in like a workbook.)

So, what do you want to change? What do you want to make better in your life?

While this is a short read, it's very powerful - and honestly, I think women of all ages could use it. We can all use reminders that we're in control of our own life, and that we can make changes. Change is hard. It's complicated. And I love that NO B.S. helps you break it down to make it more manageable.

Still looking for your dream life? Or even just a better life? This handy little book can help you get there. Not sure what you want? That works too - Hollie Flynn walks you through the process of getting clear on your dreams, goals, and ideals.

The book is in short focused chapters - I think this setup could make it great to do a chapter a day, or a chapter a week so you can really focus on changing. In addition, the brevity of the chapters really allows you to get to the core of the message easily, quickly, and (mostly) gently.

I would definitely buy this book for any young women I knew - and likely any woman looking to greatly change her life!

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this book, it encompasses all the life lessons that I wish someone had told me 10 years ago! It's never too late :) What I love most is how practical the book is. It's a quick, but deep, read and structured in a way that it took me on a journey of transformation from start to finish. I've found myself going back to look up nuggets of wisdom (or 'Hollie-isms', as I like to call them) to get me through present moments of stuck-ness. This book is very action-oriented, and covers all areas of life while building confidence and courage, what more could a girl want?! It would make a great gift for daughters, nieces, friends, anyone! I think the favorite gem that I've implemented since getting this book is the morning manifestation exercise - game changing! I already have someone in mind who I'm going to 'pay it forward' and pass the book to - thank you, Hollie, for sharing your gifts with the world!

As a father of two daughters and as someone who has devoted my life to helping young people, I love this book and can see the tremendous impact it will/can have on young females of any age. What I like best about the book is actually in the title; there is no B.S. Hollie has given her readers straight, no-nonsense critical advice to help guide them to live a life of meaning, fulfillment, and happiness. But what I love most about the book is that you can "feel" Hollie's passion and her concern for the young women who will read this book. Everything she writes about, she has experienced; and she continues to live by her advice, which makes her the perfect author and coach for anyone who reads. I will definitely recommend this book to my colleagues and friends who are raising daughters.

Being a dad of a rapidly growing teenager, I read this book in hopes of gaining some insight into the struggles of young women. What I found was a wealth of knowledge, which not only has helped me to be a better father, but also insights into the hurdles and pressures we all face. I'm totally recommending this read to my daughter and hope that she keeps it close for WHEN she needs it.

Take on higher education has great insights for girls in their 20s and struggling

Take on higher education has great insights for girls in their 20s and struggling

Format: Paperback

The No B.S. take on higher education has great insights for girls in their 20s and struggling. Perhaps one of the reasons they are struggling is because society at large expects them to go to college but it's just not the right path for them. Thus, they live out a self- fulfilling prophecy, so to speak, of feeling that they are worthless. More young people should know that alternate paths exist and are valid.

Hollie has a magical way of putting words together in such a way to inspire and motivate anyone. After reading this book, I took away some inspiration myself as well!

I think there will be many people -yes mostly young women-(but even myself at 59) who will find ways to apply the greater good

I just finished reading this book online- I meant to read it when it first came out...but as noted in the book -life is messy. I think there will be many people -yes mostly young women-(but even myself at 59) who will find ways to apply the greater good found in this read. I wrote a page of clarifying and self support statements while reading it. I love the frankness.. things are too often couched in vague and misleading terms... not in this book- get it read it and get to work ladies ... your best life is totally attainable. Your heart your friends your family will thank you someday.
